Cantlinite Ceremonial Pipes
Cantlinite Ceremonial Pipe by Donovan Archambault

This page is under construction. Pipes that will be listed on this page will all be hand crafted from hand quarried Cantlinite Stone from Pipe stone Minnesota. One of our artisans and owner of the quarry is Donovan Archambault, an Assiniboine Elder who currently lives on the Rocky Boy Reservation in Montana. The picture above is a pipe Donovan made last year and features bead work that is done with a traditional Peyote Stitch. Check back to see progress as this part of our site develops. As always feel free to contact us at sales@tetonmarketing.com. Please note that if you are interested in one of our pipes you will be able to secure it prior to it being completed.

Pipes currently under construction:

Kirk Jenkins Personal PipePIPE #1 - SOLD - 3 Feathers Personal Pipe is currently complete. This pipe was hand crafted for an individual who lives in Scottsdale, Arizona. This pipe features a 3 Feather Personal Pipesmaller pipe stem that is wrapped in hand select elk hide lace. 8 glass Crow beads hand from the ends of the elk lace. The pipe stone features 3 carved feathers that sit on the top of the stem portion and two on each side of the pipe. There is an eagle effigy on one side of the bowl and a representation of a tepee on the other side. Around the top of the bowl are 3 Feathers Personal Cantlinite Pipetwo bands. This pipe was crafted for personal use and the new owner is excited to add it to his collection. All in all this is a nice pipe for your personal use. PIPE #2 - 3 Feathers Ceremonial Styled Pipe (click on picture to enlarge)

Native American Ceremonial Eagle PipeThis pipe is finally finished. This pipe was completely hand crafted from Cantlinite stone that was also hand quarried from Donovan Archambault's quarry in Pipestone Minnesota. This pipe is a very special pipe as it was designed in conjunction with ideas provided by Donovan Archambault. This pipe features an eagles head that is coming out of the bowl of the pipe. When you see the face on the eagle it is clear that this bird is one of strength. It is a bigger pipe and it would be a very nice pipe that could be used for ceremonial purposes or for special personal use. This is a special pipe to us and we will be very careful as to where this pipe will end up.

The pipe stem is made from old growth walnut and features hand wrapped buffalo hide lace. Three bands of native american beads dorn the pipe stem in three places and crow beads hand from the lace ends. Two Red Tail Hawk feathers (hand painted) hang from the pipe stem wrapped in traditional read wool cloth and sinu. This is a wonderful pipe that is one of the nice pipes we have made.

Please note: This pipe although it was hand crafted as taught to us by Donovan Archambault, Assiniboine Elder, we are NOT Native American ourselves. We have tried to craft this pipe in traditional ways and we have made sure we respect the stone each and every time we handle the pipe. We take very seriously the responsibility that comes to us as we craft our pipes.
