Spamming is generally considered an inappropriate attempt to use a mailing list, or USENET or other networked communications facility as if it was a broadcast medium by sending the same message to a large number of people who didn't ask for it. Mass junk E-mail.
It is important to note that the TOUCH Lead Management System is not to be used for un-solicited commercial email as this would consitute it being used as a SPAM tool. TOUCH was designed to attach your message to a timeline that will send emails to qualified prospective and existing customers. Any contact that is placed into your database must be a valid prospect or client. Those contacts receiving emails should have requested information from you at some point in your marketing.
We do not allow un-qaulified lists be entered nor do we allow purchased lists to be uploaded. This does not include leads that are being purchased from Lead Generation companies like Norvax, ILEADS, Broker Club etc as long as you have made contact with the person listed on the lead request and they are aware of who you are and they have given their permission to send them additional information. In these cases the leads being purchased are coming from places where the contact in the lead form has requested information regarding insurance products.
We have made this very clear in our license agreement that any type of SPAMMING will not be tolerated and any account found to be doing so will be terminated immediatly. Please refer to our license agreement for all other unacceptable uses for TOUCH. This is important to understand as anyone violating these principals will have their account service terminated immediately. |
